Who we are

Under Massachusetts law (MGL c.94 §305D), restaurants with 25 or more seats must ensure that at least one employee trained in choking rescue procedures is on duty at all times during hours of operation.

Choking rescue is a hands-on, physical intervention, and health inspectors expect training that includes demonstrated, instructor-verified skills, not simply online coursework. Certification should reflect that employees have physically practiced adult, child, and infant choking response and were observed performing techniques correctly.

In-person training ensures staff can demonstrate proper hand placement, stance, and force, respond effectively if initial attempts fail, and act confidently in a real emergency. Online-only courses cannot verify skill competency.

Red Line Training Group, LLC provides on-site, small-group choking safety training designed specifically for restaurant teams. Training includes adult, child, and infant choking rescue procedures; safe abdominal and back-thrust techniques; emergency response sequence; and alignment with Massachusetts compliance requirements. Participants receive certificates valid for two years, suitable for inspections and compliance documentation.

Choking incidents are rare, but when they occur, seconds matter. Skill-based, in-person training protects your guests, your staff, and your business.
